Our Approach
IndexReady ("the Service") is a free website analysis tool operated by an individual. We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service, and discard it promptly once it is no longer needed. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how long we retain it, and whether we share it with third parties.
Data Collected During Analysis
When you enter a URL and run an analysis, our server fetches the target page's HTML, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt, and llms-full.txt via HTTP requests. Performance data is also retrieved through the Google PageSpeed Insights API. All of this data is processed in server memory for scoring purposes and discarded once processing is complete. No data is persisted to a database or file system. The analyzed URL may appear in server logs for operational purposes; these logs are automatically deleted within 30 days.
IP Address Handling
We temporarily hold your IP address in server memory to enforce rate limiting (5 requests per 10 minutes per IP address). This information is cleared from memory once the rate-limit window expires. IP addresses are not stored in a database or used to identify individuals.
Information from the Contact Form
Information submitted through the contact form (name, email address, subject, and message) is forwarded to the operator's email via Web3Forms. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not used for marketing or newsletter distribution. Contact information is deleted from the mailbox within 90 days after the inquiry is resolved.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand usage patterns and improve the service. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized statistical data such as page views, session duration, referral sources, and device types. This data does not identify individuals and is used only for service improvement. To opt out of Google Analytics data collection, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements that help offset operating costs. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your interests and browsing history, which may result in ads related to websites you have previously visited. Cookie Usage
This service uses cookies for the following purposes: (1) Google Analytics: collecting anonymized usage statistics for access analysis. (2) Google AdSense: ad delivery and personalized advertising. (3) Browser local storage: saving past analysis history (up to 20 entries, stored in your browser only and never sent to the server). To disable all cookies, adjust your browser settings. Note that some features may not work correctly with cookies disabled. Data Protection Measures
All pages on this service are served over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Analysis data is processed only in memory and discarded after processing. Personal information collected through the contact form is managed appropriately by the operator and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
Use by Minors
This service does not impose age restrictions. However, if you are under 16 and wish to submit personal information (such as using the contact form), please obtain parental consent before doing so. The primary function of this service is URL scoring, which does not require any personal information input during normal use.
Policy Changes
This policy may be updated in response to changes in service features or applicable laws. When changes are made, they will be posted on this page and the last-updated date will be revised. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
